Be Light: 2nd Sunday Satsang

Celebrate the dawn of Daylight Savings Time with Songbird's first 2nd Sunday Satsang, from 10:30-11:45 a.m., Sunday, March 13! This Donation-Based, All Levels practice will include mindful movement and breathwork, as well as sound and stillness. 

Don't forget to Spring forward! A 10:30 practice may feel like a 9:30 practice with the time change. To accommodate for that "lost hour" of sleep, this practice will include an extended period to rest in savasana for a reclined meditation or yoga nidra (aka "yogic sleep"). Root down, rise up, then allow yourself to receive the benefits of your practice.

Suggested donation is $10-25, and 20% of donations will support the mission of Girls Leading Our World, Inc. (GLOW), a nonprofit serving young women and girls at risk in Kansas City and beyond. Get your GLOW on as we "invite the light" through this gathering intended to help build our beloved community and prepare for the transition from Winter to Spring .
